Premium grade, natural, sundried spicy Guntur Chillis are sourced from the farms of Andhra Pradesh. With a heat value (measured in Scoville Heat Units) of ~35,000-40,000 SHU, these chillis are a spicy grade and immensely popular in Indian cuisine. Once sourced, the chillis are transported to the factory where they are cleaned and processed before being freshly machine ground into a texturized powder using our sophisticated hammer crushers and micro pulverisers. The final step is mixing in an automatic GMP blender to achieve the desired texture and consistency.
