Add toor dal in 5 cups of water with a pinch of salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Churn the dal. In a pot, heat the ghee. Add the mustard seed, green chillies, curry leaves, a pinch of asafoetida, clove, and cassia stick. Add the grated tomato and sauté for 3-4 mins. Add the CRISTA KhatMeeth Gujarati Dal Masala, churned dal, jaggery, lemon juice and salt to taste. Boil this for 10 mins. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot with rice or parathas.
