Are CRISTA spices organic?

Given the range of spices, dry fruits, and herbs that we use in our proprietary spice blends, coupled with the current nascent organic culture in India, it isn’t possible for us to consistently source 100% organic ingredients. However, what we are very conscious of is the use of only the highest grade of spices available in India, backed by a robust cleaning, grading, and grinding process.

What makes CRISTA spices unique?

CRISTA has a strict ‘NO added colours, fillers, and preservatives policy’. Our spices are 100% natural, authentic, and pure. Adulteration is caused by multiple intermediaries in a chain and is not possible at CRISTA since leveraging our pan-India procurement network, built over 40 years, CRISTA Spices are procured directly from growing areas that adopt the best practices in cultivation. This is also why we provide spices with high litre weights. Thanks to a mix of manual and machine cleaning at our factory, our customers are assured a premium, hygienic, and aromatic product. CRISTA blends have been forged with love, care, and attention to the minutest of details. We realise the little things make a world of difference. This is why we offer our customers what we ourselves eat.

How are CRISTA whole and ground spices different from those that are available in the market?

Contrary to popular belief, spices have numerous grades and quality parameters. CRISTA uses over four decades of R&D in pan-India spice procurement to identify the highest grade of spices for customers. Colour, aroma, texture, and taste define the quality of spices, so CRISTA also analyses micro factors such as high-range plantations in particular areas, consistent farming techniques, and crops that offer the best litre weights, size, colour, aroma, and texture. Furthermore, our spices have zero added colours, fillers, or preservatives. What we eat is what you get.

How are CRISTA spice blends different from those that are available in the market?

Our spice blends are characterised by their rich colours, aromas, and textures. Each blend has been customised utilising research on the preferences of consumers. Our blends are 100% vegetarian and therefore do not include eggs. Moreover, we recognise that versatility is essential in today’s cuisines; hence, most of our blends can be used in multiple cuisines and in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes!

Are CRISTA spices available at my local kirana store?

Our focus is on creating a network of CRISTA products through multiple online and offline channels so that our customers can conveniently choose the channel that suits them best. If you could drop us a line with the name of your local store, we will reach out to them within 72 hours to stock our products. We will then inform you once our products are available at the store. We will also shortly provide a directory of kirana stores that we supply to. Please note that we even run promotions on our website from time to time.

Does CRISTA ship outside of India?

At present, CRISTA ships overseas only for the B2B and corporate gifting segments. However, our retail product list will be available shortly on global e-commerce marketplaces as well. Please be sure to register on our website to receive promotional, informational, and new-product-launch updates.

How Long Does CRISTA Take To Ship An Order?

Orders received are usually processed on the following business day.

How long will it take for my product to reach me?

It usually takes 2-4 working days, but it could even take up to a week.

Do You Customise Gift Hampers?

Yes! Nearly all our gifting orders are customised. There is no minimum quantity for an order, and every client is assured superior service. Depending on the level of personalisation and the volume, we require a minimum of 30 days to deliver customised orders.
