Premium quality, natural, dry and authentic Indian Poppy Seed/Khus Khus masala is sourced from a small crop in Madhya Pradesh. An overwhelming proportion of this spice is imported and hence is subject to volatile prices. Once procured, the spice is transported to the factory where it is graded and processed. CRISTA Khus Khus is sortex grade (implies 99.6% purity), solving one of the common problems of locally available Khus Khus which is known to possess extraneous matter and has been a traditional pain point for the consumer who is forced to spend considerable time cleaning the notoriously tricky spice before usage in food.
